British Disabled Fencing Association (BDFA)

BDFA are the official National Governing Body for Wheelchair Fencing in the UK. Competitive wheelchair fencing was first introduced in 1953 and has been a Paralympic sport since 1960.

In the run up to Rio Paralympic Games 2016, adomedia were asked to deliver a brand refresh complete with a mobile responsive website.

Brand Identity

The new logomark focuses on the movement involved in the sport, referencing the iconic lunges made by the athletes. Made of three elements the logo doubles as the wavy lines of a union jack flag.

As well as the new identity refresh adomedia also updated the organisations online presence. We produced a new content managed, responsive website in time for the Rio Paralympic Games.
